Product description
More quality combined with tradition is not possible!
The particularly fine and soft red deer leather comes from New Zealand due to its injury-free qualities.
In a very complex process that requires a great deal of experience on the part of the tanner, the fine leather was chamois-tanned in the Eierding tannery.
Chamois-tanned leather is breathable, temperature-regulating (warm in winter and cool in summer), durable and acquires a particularly beautiful patina when worn.
To ensure that the leather trousers remain beautiful and retain their shape for years to come, particularly stressed areas are reinforced on the inside with trimmed leather.
The trousers are decorated with classic pale green hand embroidery. The embroidery is only stitched in relief around the embroidered areas.
The trousers have not been finished and have been left in their natural state for that special used look. This can be seen above all in the real mosquito bites. Each pair of trousers is therefore completely individual.
Another quality feature of elaborately crafted and handmade leather trousers is the saddle stitching. With this seam, the leather edges are sewn together visibly on the outside, as a yellow seam, and additional light-coloured leather strips are placed between the leather edges.
Lederhosen are traditionally knee-length and are also known colloquially as ‘shorts’.
Note: The leather trousers must be bought particularly tight! At least one size smaller.
The deerskin stretches a lot over time.
